We would recommend following Public Health England advice on how to complete the test, you can find a video demonstration here. The test kit you receive will be similar to the one in the video.

7. How long will it take for my sample to arrive at the laboratory?

In the majority of cases we will provide Royal Mail 'Tracked 24' return postage. Tests sent via a priority postbox before the last collection time, will usually arrive at the laboratory the next day (excluding Sundays and bank holidays). In a small number of cases deliveries by Royal Mail can be delayed, this would delay your result. You may leave your home to post your test.

8. Is there a way I can receive my results faster?

Please contact us at help@0covidclear.com if you have a particular urgent need. Our London laboratory has dropbox outside - if you're able to drop your sample off at the laboratory that can lead to a much faster result. If you would like to arrange your own courier that is welcomed.

9. How will I receive my results?

Results and certificate will be sent to the email address used when registering the test.

10. Should I print my certificate once received?

If travelling, when your certificate arrives via email, you should print a paper copy and keep it with you for the duration of your journey.

11. Are your tests safe and accurate?

Each test is CE marked and authorised for use in UKAS accredited laboratories. PCR tests are seen as the most accurate widely available at present.

12. Do you have any other delivery options?

Please contact us if you require a last minute test. Dependant on your location, we may be able to help.

13. Do you report results to Public Health England?

All test information is provided to PHE and will contribute to national statistics.

14. How can I test a child?

  • Talk through the steps together. If possible, practice without using any of the testing materials.
  • Remain calm and confident as you go through the process. This will help the child to stay calm too.
  • It may be helpful to give them a distraction while you conduct the test, or make it into a game.
  • If possible, you may wish to have another adult involved to provide support during the test. Decide before starting who will comfort the child and who will do the test.
  • It may be helpful for another adult to hold the child on their lap during the procedure so it is easier to perform the test.
  • Your child may have some gagging or brief discomfort when the swab touches their nose. This is normal for all age groups.
